Atop the large green grove sat
A house made of love and stone.
Inside the house of peoples three
Lived a family well at home.
The mother loved and cared for all
And on weekends danced the night away.
The father danced with her a happy tune
And would work during the day.
The once a baby now in school
To learn about all there is.
Today she'll listen all she can
To what her teacher says.
A family such as this I wish
To have one day exist.
This will not happen over night
But my wife will assist.
I'm still not married yet you see
But soon that will change.
In due time there will be
A wedding for you and me.
Be not dismayed at the wait
For patience is a virtue.
Hold on just a little longer
And know that I love you.
She loves ME?
Why does this woman love me so?
So much as to want to marry me...
I don't deserve to be in her presence,
I don't deserve to be in her presence,
Let me explain why.
I do things for her that pale in comparison
To what she does for me.
I do things that upset her constantly...
So, why does she love me so?
Sure, I can make her laugh when she's sad.
Sure, I can buy her things and kiss her boo-boos.
Sure, I can driver her around and take her on dates.
But, why does she love me so?
We come from different family types,
We come from different backgrounds,
We often don't see eye to eye,
So, why does she love me so?
For some reason she loves me.
I may never understand why.
I only know that I don't deserve her.
So, why does she love me so?
Why does she love me so?
