Summer Bonfire

*From earlier this year. I had forgotten my password. But now it is up.

Warm glow, burning bright
Child embers, gasping for life
Granted by the kindling
Surrounding light, limited
Too close, too hot
Too far, too cool
Surrounding chairs, occupied
Mallows, toasted
And laid on beds of chocolate
Covered in blankets of graham
Classic treat
Chatter between common folk
Friend to one, friend to all
All sharing in the stories
Bring the music, the dancing starts
Watch the shadows follow along
The flames themsleves will join the fun
The night will pass, the morn comes closer
People come, people go
A time was had, spent together
In the morn, back to work
We'll do this again soon, my friends
